Flu Shots at Mercy Wellness Clinic

Seasonal influenza can lead to significant illness for both children and adults, making annual flu vaccination one of the most effective ways to protect yourself and your family. Mercy Wellness Clinic provides flu shots for children and adults at our Spring Branch and Alamo Ranch locations, offering convenient preventive care for patients throughout the surrounding North San Antonio and Texas Hill Country communities.

We accept most insurance plans for flu vaccinations. Mercy Wellness Clinic offers Fluzone for patients ages 6 months through 64 years and Fluad for adults age 65 and older. Flu vaccinations are available by appointment at our Spring Branch and Alamo Ranch locations and can also be provided during a scheduled routine visit.

Why the Flu Vaccine Matters

Influenza spreads quickly during the fall and winter, leading to fever, fatigue, muscle aches, cough, and potential complications in higher risk individuals. The flu vaccine helps reduce the severity of illness and lowers the risk of hospitalization and transmission.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend that most individuals aged six months and older receive a flu shot annually. The vaccine is updated each year to protect against new strains, making yearly immunization essential.

Flu Vaccine Options

We offer two flu vaccines based on age:

Fluzone | $30 self-pay

Fluad | $90 self-pay
